CELTIC Safe Standing Area Planned
As reported by Celtic FC. This week the club announced the breakthrough news that safe standing is coming to Paradise.
The development has been applauded by many football fans, recognising that Celtic have led the way once more by becoming the first top tier side in the UK to get the green light for a safe standing area in their stadium.
Fans have been calling for a standing area to be introduced for several years so we are delighted that we can finally move forward to deliver this using a brand new rail seating system.
The initial roll-out will aim to accommodate around 2,000 supporters and demand for a place in the standing section is expected to be high.
Installation is planned for the 2016/17 season and 2015/16 Season Ticket holders will be first to be given the opportunity to take their place in the Safe Standing area
