Plane Found In Search For Emilano Sala
Over the weekend we saw an emotionally-charged atmosphere at the Cardiff City Stadium. We are all aware that a new player who almost everyone hadn’t seen play and only a handful of officials, including Manager, Neil Warnock, had met is missing as a result of an aeroplane journey across the English Channel to meet up with his new colleagues.
On TV this looked to have been superbly managed by Wayne Nash and his colleagues in difficult circumstances and the part played by the Cardiff City supporters themselves was nothing short of fantastic.
We hear today that following a private search the main body of the aircraft has been located on the sea bed and it doesn’t look good for Emiliano and pilot David Ibbotson. Needless to say, Emilano’s family are devastated and the wider football family including ourselves at the FSOA join in the sorrow expressed by Cardiff’s fans.
Obviously this is now starting to take over not only the back pages but also the front pages of various publications and there are live updates on Walesonline.
